Peter Mullin is an entrepreneur and artist; and husband and dad.

His primary background and strength is finance and consulting. His passion is creating and sharing stories that impact people. He lives in the NW Minneapolis suburbs and enjoys cooking, painting, and engaging with the community.

Peter can connect quickly with many and draw out what is most important to them. His curiosity and drive is what keeps him wearing different hats – all while raising three young kids with his wife.

His portfolio consists of local media work and private art projects. He has participated in a small art showcase and administers several Facebook Groups to stay engaged with the community.

"I had a shot at film school - a producer track - when I graduated from Saint John's University.

I decided that a gamble wagered at the cost of 6-figures of student debt was not a wise move. Besides, it seemed many big-shot producers had something I did not: Money.

Granite Sky Media, LLC is a promise kept. I said I would come back to my love of media and film. And now I can say I have. Though like many storytellers, I never left.

It turns out that many things have changed; and many things have stayed the same. The iPhone has exploded in use since 2007, for example. The smartphone, in general, has given many a high-quality camera at the ready 24/7. But artists can insist that the talent behind the camera still matters.

A good story does not get told through the trillions of gigs of video and photo files that must exist in the cloud.

A story must be refined and nurtured by the artist. Like a woodworker, the artist first starts with a tree. That tree gets widdled down and sanded to what the artist finally says is "good enough." (Is a project ever done or perfect?)
